I am a 21 year old female. As far as a daily routine, this is as follows. Every morning, I take a shower and I wash my face. I apply my make-up, do my hair and I’m off for the day. At the end of the day I floss and brush my teeth then I wash my face and call it a day.
I haven’t done much studying in the way of facial maintenance but I know the basics. If you don’t take care of your face by keeping it clean then the pores on your face will clog causing unsightly pimples.
However, I must be doing something wrong here because I still get pimples. I mean, there’s a time where for about 2 weeks my skin will be clear, then for the next 2 weeks my face explodes with about 4 pimples, some smaller and some painfully larger. For these days I use a spot treatment, it’s called “Clearasil Ultra, Vanishing Cream Treatment”. However, this product takes a long time to completely get rid of the pimple.
As far as Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Acne Wash, it leaves my face dry and moisture less.
I’m sick of putting so much effort towards my face and I’m getting nothing in return. My pores are huge, my skintone uneven, and for half of each month I’m spending twenty minutes a day trying to camouflage it.
Does anyone have any advice or can recommend any products that will do everything I want it to do?
1)Keep my face clear of pimples
2)Restore an even skin tone
3)Reduce the size of my pores.
4)Possibly suggest a different routine that may be more effective.
